I feel that CRC greatly improved my life. I've been dealing with trauma from the military which led to substance abuse issues. The treatment at CRC has been outstanding, I was able to share my thoughts and feelings comfortably where in the past I would never have been able to share these experiences with others. The CRC staff met me where I was at in the recovery process made me feel comfortable and allowed for the possibility of hope to grow. I usually like this place by today they did something messed up. The old lady that looks like she hates her life tried to tell me I have a 800 balancer co pay when I knew for sure I was covered by my insurance and this was before I had dosed and I was in semi withdrawal and they took me out of the methadone line and told me that, made me freak out and then gave me a number to the other location and they told me I don’t have to pay anything. I really feel like it’s not right to bombared someone with a 800 dollar bill out of nowhere and not be sure that they have to pay it, so unprofessional

My stay at California Recovery Center  was nothing short of transformative. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, respected, and genuinely cared for. The staff members are highly compassionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated to helping every individual on their unique path to recovery. The facility itself is beautiful—clean, comfortable, and peaceful, which made it easy to focus on healing. The program is thoughtfully designed, blending evidence-based treatment with emotional support, mindfulness, and personal growth. I truly appreciated how individualized my care plan was; it never felt “one size fits all.” Group sessions were open and honest, with counselors fostering a safe space for sharing and connection. The one-on-one therapy was equally powerful—I learned more about myself and my recovery journey than I ever expected. The sense of community with the other clients was inspiring, and I left feeling confident, supported, and well-equipped to continue a healthy, fulfilling life. I had a great experience at their inpatient and outpatient programs. They have an In house chef and the food is outstanding. The rooms are comfortable. The counselors are caring and have deep knowledge about the recovery process and provide great classes daily. CRC saved my life once again. I was here in August for 33 days. I gained so much knowledge of many coping skills, relapse prevention, what to do upon graduating. ...I unfortunately relapsed, consumed more alcohol than I ever have in my life for 7 days. It's like I went from 0 to 60. ...The problem was: I NEVER UTILIZED THOSE COPING SKILLS. I NEVER GOT A SPONSOR. I NEVER WENT TO OUTSIDE MEETINGS. I DID NOT PROGRAM. Granted, I attended their incredible aftercare program of 30 hours a week, once I left the 6 hour a day class  - I DIDN'T PROGRAM! Upon graduating today, by the grace of God and CRC, I already have a sponsor, I've actually opened & read some of the Big Book, they are personally transferring me door to door to their aftercare. They are so many wonderful and grateful words that I  could go on and on and about CRC. Without the dedication & guidance & sincere concern and knowledge from management, counselors and medical staff, I honestly don't believe I'd be here to write this. I will not give up. I'm happy today. And most importantly, I'm SOBER!
